An impressive late 19th century inlaid mahogany Bonheur Du Jour writing desk.

The upper section with inkwells above two fitted drawers flanked by galleried bowfront brass grate door cabinets enclosed shelving and filing compartments behind a shaped gilt tooled green leather writing surface. Fitted three drawers to the frieze mounted with good handles and solid interiors and raised on inlaid tapered slender legs.
