Heriz Carpet Rug 419.3 x 293.5 cm

A fine quality Heriz carpet.

Woven with a bold central floral medallion surrounded by tendrils, spandrels and flower head border.

Made circa 1920, purchased by the previous vendors in Lebanon in 1953 (see invoice). Some historic moth damage to one area – since treated no longer active and passed examination in 2000.
